Scripture: Zechariah 4:6-9, Ezra 2:2, Ezra 5:2, Ezra 6:14-15, Matthew 17:20

Zerubbabel was one of the Jewish leaders who retuned from the captivity of the exiles (Ezra 2:2). He and others set out to rebuild the Alter of the Lord (Ezra 5:2-4) and were faced with great opposition from the people around them. It was a mountain that looked insurmountable. But the word of the Lord came to Zerubbabbel in Zechariah 4:7, what are you, O mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground. According to the dictionary, a mountain is a natural elevation of the earth’s surface having considerable mass, generally steep sides, and a height greater than that of a hill. A mountain is also defined as a huge quantity. If what you are going through now seems so big, and in the natural impossible to overcome, then it must be a mountain. If you find yourself easily worn out and falling down after each attempt at moving forward, then you must be facing a mountain. Your mountain may be an ailment or a lack in one area of your life. Anything that has elevated itself and bent on stopping you from getting to the other side of victory is a mountain and must be dealt with. Even thou you don’t have the power to confront it by yourself, the good news is that you serve a God who can move and make plain any mountain. Before Zerubbabbel the mountain was leveled and the Temple of the Lord was completed (Ezra 6:14-15). Believe God to level your mountain too as you pray the following prayers. I declare to you in the name of Jesus Christ, before you that mountain must become level ground. Hallelujah!

Instruction: Take time to worship the living God and thank Him for His power and ability to do anything. Ask Him to strengthen your faith as you pray. Matthew 17:20 says, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to there and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.

Every seed of unbelief in my life, I command you to be consumed by the word of God in Jesus’ name.

Every mountain of sickness (mention the ailment) in my life, before me become level ground in Jesus’ name.

Every mountain of oppression from the camp of the enemy in my life, crumble in Jesus’ name.

You mountain of opposition confronting me, I command you to become plain in the mighty name of Jesus.

Every mountain of poverty in my life, before me become level ground in Jesus’ name.

Every mountain of mediocrity, move away from my life in Jesus’ name.

You mountain of lack in my life, before me be consumed by the abundance of the Lord in the name of Jesus.

Since I serve a God who can do all things, I command every impossible situation in my life to become possible in Jesus’ name.

You mountain of debt in my life, I confront you with the Lord’s abundant provision and I charge you to become level ground in Jesus’ name.

You mountain of failure in my life, be consumed by the excellent Spirit of the Living God in Jesus’ name.

Thank the Lord for answering your prayers.
